Short Summary:
We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Support Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will perform their services remotely within the EU. The successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operational maintenance and continuity of the system after its Entry into Operations, guaranteeing stability, security, and performance across all environments.
- Provide second-level support by analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, and service requests in accordance with defined service levels.
- Perform corrective, adaptive, preventive, and perfective maintenance activities.
- Monitor system health and performance through observability tools, respond proactively to alerts and events.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators, Architects, and Operational teams.
- Participate in change and release management activities.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews and root-cause analyses.
- Provide operational support for middleware and integration components.
Requirement:
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in IT.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations or application/system support, including at least 2 years in second-level (L2) support for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned frameworks.
- Proficiency with IT service management tools such as Service Now.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, container orchestration platforms, and observability stacks.
- Knowledge of application runtime environments, APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
- Excellent command of the English language.
