Short Summary:
The Service Technician Trainee will be trained to work on complex electro-mechanical systems to produce credit card sized cards, involving various state-of-the-art techniques. This role includes administrative responsibilities to support the regional team in delivering services to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the repair of printers to electronic board level for customer-owned products.
- Deliver high-quality emergency maintenance services on Entrust produced equipment.
- Assist with the refurbishment of Entrust products for Certified Pre-owned Equipment sales.
- Diagnose and understand equipment problems.
- Maintain failure data records and communicate technical issues to relevant teams.
- Participate in company-sponsored personal development and quality initiative trainings.
- Process parts ordering, loan equipment documentation, and customs documentation.
- Perform bi-yearly stock audits.
Requirement:
- Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting after training.
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, and processes.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willingness to work flexible hours and assignments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of electromechanical technician experience.
- Associate's degree in Electronics.
- Additional electromechanical technician experience.
- Skilled with tools and electronic test equipment.
