Senior Clipper/XBase Developer

Job Title: Senior Clipper/XBase DeveloperContract Type: Full-time | Hybrid (2 days at the office / 3 days remote) | Long-term assignment (approximately 4 years)Role OverviewA Senior Clipper/XBase Developer is needed to support the maintenance, enhancement, and evolution of a core back-office application. The successful candidate will work on existing developments, implement new functionalities, and resolve incidents within a business-critical environment. Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance existing applications, primarily developed in Clipper/XBase++ and VBA. Analyze business requirements and develop new functionalities and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with business users. Investigate and fix software bugs. Contribute to the ongoing improvement and stability of the core backend system. Key RequirementsMinimum 10 years of hands-on experience developing applications in Clipper. Extensive experience working with DBase III tables and indexes. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook). Experience with VBA and Microsoft Office automation. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-oriented mindset. Nice to HaveExperience with XBase++. Knowledge of Git. Experience with Altova.
