Short Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will support Diligent’s financial planning and analysis efforts, providing insights and recommendations for strategic and operational decisions. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, maintenance, and enhancement of financial reporting packages, models, and dashboards.
- Analyze, consolidate, and interpret complex financial and operational data.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly management reporting processes.
- Prepare and present financial materials for leadership and Board meetings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.
- Perform advanced ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or FP&A.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CPA, CFA) a plus.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems or BI tools.
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Strategic mindset, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively.
