Short Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining features to enhance customers’ communication experience, combining traditional hardware solutions with Dialpad’s cloud communication platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software solutions and integrations that interface with VoIP devices.
- Design and implement features for device management, provisioning, activation, and control in the UI.
- Troubleshoot production/customer-related issues with devices.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests.
- Maintain code quality by reviewing peers’ code.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Work closely with QA throughout the entire lifecycle of a feature.
- Engage in self-development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Requirement:
- Professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Python or other relevant structured languages.
- Experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience working with databases.
- Expertise in unit testing.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP, UDP).
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
