Short Summary:
Dataforest is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team. If you’re a strong Manual QA who actively uses AI to generate test data and write basic checks faster — you’ve found the right place.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of web applications, assessing both frontend UI/UX and backend API behavior.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing throughout the entire SDLC.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries to verify data integrity, transformations, and backend logic.
- Using AI create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).
- Leverage AI assistants (e.g. Claude) to create automated API and E2E scripts to optimize manual QA workflows.
- Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to maintain high quality standards across the SDLC.
Requirement:
- 2+ years of hands-on QA experience with web applications built on modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, pure JS) and REST APIs.
- Active use of AI in your workflow: practical experience applying AI tools for automation, test case generation, or troubleshooting.
- API testing experience using Postman (collections, environments, basic scripts).
- SQL skills for database querying and data validation.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience writing clean, comprehensive test documentation.
- Proficiency with teamwork tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
- English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher.
