Short Summary:
Current is a leading consumer fintech platform transforming financial access for everyday Americans with over 6 million members. We are looking for an Android engineer to join our team in New York, responsible for building user experiences for our members through native mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of a small and nimble mobile engineering team working closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams.- Own the delivery of features from system design through launch, with support from senior engineers.- Contribute to scalable and reusable mobile frameworks.- Raise the bar on architecture, testing, and monitoring practices.- Help Current's members build better financial futures through various products.
Requirement:
- 2+ years of native Android development, using Kotlin.- Working knowledge of Android fundamentals including component lifecycles, dependency injection (Hilt), multi-threading, and Jetpack components.- Comfortable working within a modularized app architecture.- Experience in a shared codebase with a real code review culture.- Genuine interest in the personal finance space.
