Short Summary:
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence, focusing on building scalable AI infrastructure. The Engineering Manager will lead the team responsible for the control plane for VPC networking, ensuring rapid delivery and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Define the roadmap for the VPC control plane and drive the evolution of network virtualization systems.
- Contribute to the design of distributed control-plane services and ensure scalability.
- Support reliability engineering and incident response within 3-6 month execution cycles.
- Mentor and grow a team of engineers, setting technical standards.
- Collaborate with data-plane and cloud product teams for low-latency networking.
Requirement:
- 6-8+ years in distributed systems or cloud networking engineering, with 2-4+ years managing engineering talent.
- Strong knowledge of SDN and network virtualization.
- Hands-on experience building large-scale control planes.
- Understanding of operating multi-tenant cloud services.
- Ability to resolve complex technical challenges in a fast-moving environment.
