Please note: compensation for this role is commission-only, based on successful placements - approximately $5,000+ per hire. Type: Full-time or part-time - your choice, we care about closed roles, not hours logged Location: Remote Compensation: commission-only About us: We started out doing IT recruiting in the German market. We're now actively building out the US side of the business - seed to Series A startups hiring Backend, Fullstack, AI, and ML engineers. The work: The roles are not easy to close. Hard-skills match alone gets candidates rejected constantly - clients are looking for a specific school and work pedigree on top of the technical fit (candidates coming out of recognizable VC-backed startups, or top-tier US/UK/CA schools). You'll need to develop a feel for what "sells" a candidate to an early-stage startup founder, not just what technically qualifies them. Your job is sourcing candidates. How you do it - LinkedIn, GitHub, your own network, whatever works for you - is entirely up to you. We only care about the result. How you get paid: No base, no retainer - your fee is 3.5% of the candidate's first-year salary, paid out per successful placement. With typical candidate salaries of $160k-$250k, that's roughly $5,600-$8,750 per hire. Requirements: 3+ years of experience recruiting for similar roles (Backend / Fullstack / AI / ML) English B2 or higher Experience using AI tools as part of your recruiting workflow Nice to have: Track record closing software engineering roles specifically for the US market Solid understanding of the US tech/startup job market
