Communications Specialist

Job description

We hire Support strategic communications for the Education & Advancement sector by developing high-quality written, visual, and digital content. The role will create executive presentations, reports, campaigns, announcements, and event materials while ensuring alignment with KAUST branding and communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit corporate communications, reports, presentations, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Support communication campaigns, strategic initiatives, and leadership communications.
  • Create executive-level presentations and visual communication materials using PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, GBC, designers, and external vendors.
  • Support event communications, branding materials, invitations, signage, and digital assets.
  • Maintain communication calendars, project trackers, timelines, and approvals.
  • Ensure all communication materials meet quality and brand standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Corporate Communications, PR, Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Experience in visual storytelling, presentation design, and corporate branding.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and project management skills.
  • Experience in higher education, government, research, or corporate environments is an advantage.
