Short Summary:
The purpose of this job is to supervise the day-to-day operations of the transit bus operators, ensuring buses are on schedule and run safely.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising operations
- Preparing schedules
- Conducting training
- Monitoring bus routes and compliance with laws and regulations
- Responding to and investigating complaints
- Engaging in disciplinary action of employees
- Assigning operators to routes
- Conducting safety and training meetings
Requirement:
- High school diploma/GED
- 1+ year driving buses on open highway
- Valid Virginia CDL Class B with passenger endorsement
- Knowledge of ADA policies
- Supervisory ability
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to conduct safety training and complete drug & alcohol program training
