Short Summary:
As a Solutions Architect on our Professional Services team, you'll work directly with our Commercial customers to lead implementations and empower them to build secure software with Chainguard. You'll be the closest technical point of contact our customers have and a living embodiment of our core value: we are customer obsessed.

Responsibilities:
- Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images.
- Partner with the account team to understand customer goals, pain points, and proposed solutions.
- Act as "customer zero" - testing, documenting, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface customer requirements.
- Maintain account-level architecture documentation and share best practices.
- Be a true team player - collaborate, teach, and keep learning alongside the Chainguard team.

Requirement:
- 4+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes and containers.
- 2+ years in a pre or post-sales customer-facing role.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for a range of audiences.
- A continuous learner with a strong drive for excellence and a passion for solving complex problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of software development processes and engineering design concepts.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams and business partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
