THE ROLE

 

As Pricing Manager Sales Operations, you will own the end-to-end pricing governance for bikes and gear to ensure consistency, transparency, and competitiveness across all global markets. Combining strategic, operational, and system-related responsibilities, you will manage pricing structures within key systems (e.g., SAP) and optimize pricing frameworks. In this role, you drive revenue and margin growth through advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and structured campaign planning.

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

 

  • System Ownership & Governance: You serve as the SAP ERP key user for pricing logic, maintaining international pricing architectures and alignment with promotional engine mechanics.
  • End-to-End Pricing Management: You lead operational, strategic, and technical pricing processes for bikes, shipping costs, service materials, and crash replacements across all markets.
  • Market & Currency Adjustments: You continuously monitor exchange-rate developments and coordinate cross-functional price adjustments to safeguard profitability.
  • Analytics & Decision Support: You prepare pricing analyses, dashboards, and reports to drive strategic decision-making and support price optimization initiatives.
  • Project Leadership: You manage pricing-related projects from planning through to international rollout, supporting customer experience and complexity reduction initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: As the main point of contact for pricing queries, you align closely with internal teams and international partners on commercial logic and governance.

  • Professional Background: Proven experience in pricing management, sales operations, or commercial controlling within an international e-commerce or retail environment forms the foundation of your profile.
  • System & IT Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP pricing logic (Experienced/Expert level) and MS Office (Expert level) is required, complemented by familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Analytical & Methodological Skills: A strong data-driven mindset enables you to navigate complex "if-then" logic, recognize patterns, and derive actionable business decisions.
  • Quality & Results Focus: High standards for data accuracy, an independent working style, and a track record of delivering projects within deadlines set you apart.
