Short Summary:
We are looking for several Java Desktop Developers to join our growing software team in Bremen. This role is part of a long-term expansion of our software development organization, focusing on developing desktop applications used to control advanced mass spectrometry instruments.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java desktop applications for mass spectrometry instrument control.
- Implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and resolve software defects.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following modern software engineering practices.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, scientists, and engineers to deliver innovative instrument control solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing Java desktop applications.
- Experience developing, debugging, or testing software that interfaces with laboratory, industrial, or other physical devices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Nice to have: Experience with Eclipse RCP and Eclipse-based applications.
