Short Summary:
Block is seeking a Credit Reporting Disputes Program Lead to own the consumer reporting and furnisher disputes program under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This role involves building the program through collaboration with various teams rather than managing a large direct team.

Responsibilities:
- Own the furnisher and consumer reporting disputes program end to end.
- Define reasonable investigation standards and ensure consistency across disputes.
- Design remediation paths for inaccurate data and partner with relevant teams for implementation.
- Build necessary workflow constructs for data correction and investigative processes.
- Investigate recurring data defects and resolve them upstream.
- Represent the consumer reporting program to regulators and maintain examination readiness.
- Advise product and engineering teams on reporting accuracy and data correction obligations.

Requirement:
- 12+ years of furnisher or consumer reporting compliance experience under FCRA and Regulation V.
- Experience in building or reshaping data accuracy and integrity programs.
- Familiarity with credit modeling infrastructure and experience in dispute investigations.
- Knowledge of FCRA litigation and adjacent regulations.
- Experience engaging with regulatory bodies like CFPB and FTC.
- Proven ability to advance cross-functional programs without direct authority.
