Short Summary:
Bitvavo is seeking a Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Officer to join their Compliance department. This role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing the compliance monitoring and testing program based on EU regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in designing and implementing improvements in the compliance monitoring and testing (CMT) program.
- Manage the identification and communication of the CMT program's objectives, scope, and local risks.
- Design compliance risk assessment processes to identify key risks and activities.
- Lead the execution and implementation of the annual CMT plan.
- Review policies and procedures as part of the compliance review plan.
- Write compliance reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in implementing a reporting methodology for efficient issue escalation.

Requirement:
- University degree in Law or a similar relevant study.
- 5 years of experience in a Compliance or Risk-related business function.
- Experience in a Regulated Exchange, MTF, or CASP is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience with compliance testing, monitoring, and audit programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial services regulations (i.e., MiFID II or MiCAR).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and policy drafting capabilities.
- Skilled in executing multi-functional and cross-organizational assignments.
