Short Summary:
The Senior Accountant is part of the Controllership team within the Finance department, responsible for accounting execution in Balance Sheet and Income Statement areas within OPEX, leading month-end close and audit procedures, and managing the Accounts Payable function.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end and year-end close by preparing OPEX accruals, prepaid schedules, expense allocations, payroll journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Treasury, FP&A, Legal, and People to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and offering necessary explanations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including flux analysis.
- Own end-to-end Accounts Payable, including vendor setup, purchase order issuance, invoice matching, and processing.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting; CPA license preferred.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
