Short Summary:
At Bayer, we’re visionaries, driven to solve the world’s toughest challenges. As a Senior Scientist, you will combine expertise in protein biophysics with a hands-on, drug-hunting mindset to generate high-impact experimental insights for discovery programs.

Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot biochemical and biophysical assays to characterize proteins.
- Design and execute protein mass spectrometry workflows and integrate data into project decisions.
- Plan, run, and analyze label-free binding experiments on SPR platforms.
- Develop and validate biochemical and biophysical assays to support screening and lead optimization.
- Interpret complex datasets and present results to discovery colleagues.
- Contribute to lab organization and continuous workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with research associates and scientists across levels.
- Optimize workflows for in silico experimentation and machine learning.

Requirement:
- PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in protein mass spectrometry and familiarity with data-analysis software.
- Experience in biophysical methods for biomolecular interactions, especially SPR.
- Strong foundation in protein biochemistry and data analysis capabilities.
- Exposure to high-throughput workflows and biologics or protein-based therapeutics.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, fluent in English.
