Short Summary:
As a Product Design Lead at BambooHR, you will transform complex HR processes into user-centered journeys, mentor designers, and collaborate with engineers and product managers. This role involves exploring emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor reports in a player/coach role.
- Coordinate with Product Managers and Director of Product Design on staffing needs.
- Participate in user research to guide product design decisions.
- Define, test, and iterate on interaction design for new and existing features.
- Experiment with AI tools within the design process.
- Collaborate with product manager and tech lead on planning and execution.
Requirement:
- Proven track record of designing successful SaaS-based software products.
- 6+ years of product-based UX design experience.
- 2+ years of managing or mentoring designers.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual UI design.
- Experience with AI-assisted features or strong curiosity in applying emerging technologies.
- Experience designing complex data visualization or analytics solutions.
