Cloud Engineer

Mid-level and Senior-level Cloud Engineers (AWS)

Short Summary:
The company is expanding its remote team in the Philippines and is looking for skilled, driven, and motivated Mid and Senior Cloud Engineers to contribute to the company's growth and work on impactful projects.

Responsibilities:
- Propose automation/improvements and collaborate with stakeholders for solutions
- Improve the capability and efficiency of the Cloud Engineering team
- Administer an existing Public Cloud environment, including building, deploying, and maintaining servers in AWS
- Manage Puppet controlled infrastructure
- Develop and build new cloud-based systems
- Investigate new cloud technology releases
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation
- Lead the design and architecture of new cloud solutions
- Support and maintain production systems, acting as escalation point for complex incidents
- Drive security best practices and cost optimization
- Mentor and coach the Mid-level Cloud Engineer

Requirement:
- For Mid-level: At least 3 years of experience
- For Senior Level: At least 5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related
- Experience as a cloud engineer, including AWS environment administration and Linux Server Administration
- Familiarity with configuration management (Puppet) and infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation, Terraform)
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Linux shell scripts)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
