Work Arrangement:
In-person, 5 days a week
Short Summary:
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries like food, mining, and transport. We are looking for interns who are passionate about solving real-world problems and want to contribute to innovative technology.
Responsibilities:
- Build foundational software systems for kitchen infrastructure and real estate innovations
- Test software development methodology in an agile environment
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems
- Collaborate with other engineers to elevate technology and improve systems
- Write, debug, maintain, and test code
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectural systems
- Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions
- Drive innovation within the team and support Atoms’ technological advancements
Requirement:
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Graduating in Summer-Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028
- 3.7 GPA Minimum
- Completed an introductory Computer Science course
- Advanced programming experience in one or more languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, Kotlin, C/C++, etc.)
- Problem-solver with a track record of growth and learning
- Ownership and pride in writing clean, maintainable code
- Ability to dive deep into open source software, find issues, and fix them
