Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst supports the centralization and improvement of procurement request processes by developing intake tools, standardized workflows, and operational tracking solutions. This role coordinates with internal customers, program offices, contracting stakeholders, and leadership to improve intake accuracy, streamline triage, and provide clear visibility into workload, risks, and processing timelines.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain centralized procurement request intake forms, workflows, templates, and dashboards to support standardized data collection and efficient routing.
- Review and triage incoming procurement requests, validate documentation for completeness, identify missing information, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues before routing.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, workflow documentation, communication templates, and process guidance to promote consistent and efficient operations.
- Build and maintain tracking and reporting tools that provide visibility into request volume, workload distribution, processing timelines, backlogs, risks, and bottlenecks.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc operational reports and provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and process performance.
- BA/BS degree and 5 (+) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting acquisition, procurement intake, operational workflow centralization, or similar business process improvement activities.
- Experience developing process documentation, intake forms, templates, dashboards, standard operating procedures, and workflow tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal customers, program managers, contracting offices, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency with workflow systems, tracking tools, data organization, and reporting platforms such as Power BI, SharePoint, or equivalent solutions.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to identify process gaps, improve data quality, track operational performance, and communicate risks and recommendations clearly.
Preferred
- Experience supporting federal government acquisition, procurement, or contracting operations.
- Experience developing automated dashboards, reporting tools, or digital intake solutions.
- Experience implementing process improvements that reduce rework, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with centralized intake, triage, routing, and workflow management processes.
- Salary Range: $120,000–$145,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including education, experience, qualifications, skills, and applicable contract requirements.
