Short Summary:
Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Publications Operations Manager to oversee the intake, prioritization, staffing, and tracking of Technical Publications work across various programs. This role involves managing Jira intake, resource allocation, and ensuring alignment with program schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Own department-level Jira intake, triage, workflow governance, and priority routing for Technical Publications work.
- Decide how work is sequenced and staffed when program priorities compete.
- Own the department’s view of workload, throughput, blockers, delivery risk, and capacity across the work portfolio.
- Reallocate writers against changing program demand and escalate only the conflicts that genuinely require leadership decision.
- Build and maintain the reporting and operating metrics that leadership uses to assess department performance and staffing needs.
- Run recurring execution reviews, planning sessions, and follow-up to completion.
- Coordinate with Mission Readiness, Engineering, Program Management, Training, ILS, Support, and Product to keep publication work aligned with program schedules.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, resource planning, or workflow ownership in a technical environment.
- Experience owning intake, prioritization, throughput tracking, or resource allocation for a multi-stakeholder team.
- Experience driving execution across teams where you did not have direct reporting authority.
- Experience using Jira or a comparable work-management system as an operating system of record.
- Ability to make timely, evidence-based resourcing and prioritization decisions.
- Willingness to make and defend firm staffing and sequencing decisions among programs with competing priorities.
- Must be eligible for Secret and higher security clearance (US).
