Short Summary:
Alpaca is a global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure, seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to enhance operational workflows through automation and tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor production automations and UIs.
- Partner with frontend engineers to productize ops tooling.
- Execute operational procedures to identify manual processes for automation.
- Instrument and report baseline and outcome metrics.
- Produce Platform Opportunity Briefs / RFCs for higher-level tooling.
- Collaborate with licensed BD leadership, Compliance, and Security for safe automations.
- Own the full lifecycle of the systems built, including automated deployment and monitoring.
- Ensure systems have auditability, traceability, and data lineage.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong business sense and understanding of operations.
- Deep expertise in Golang and its concurrency models.
- Proven track record of building user-facing features with Typescript/React.
- Proficient with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with observability, tracing, and continuous profiling.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High ownership mindset with a focus on durable fixes.
