Short Summary:
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, providing consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. The Licensing team enables Affirm's ability to operate and scale in regulated markets globally.
Responsibilities:
- Support new product & service launches related to state licensing and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, public affairs, compliance, finance, and tax.
- Maintain the central repository for licensing and reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with the Licensing team to prepare and submit state licensing annual reports.
- Ensure timely regulatory filings and supervise ongoing regulatory obligations.
- Lead preparation of renewal applications and other forms for licensing jurisdictions.
- Analyze and develop new processes to increase efficiency within the licensing program.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to fulfill ongoing state licensing requirements.
Requirement:
- 5 years of licensing/compliance/regulatory experience related to consumer financial services.
- Outstanding time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proven project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Humility, integrity, and a desire to be part of a supportive team.
- Inquisitive, eager to learn, and willing to take ownership of projects.
- Highly focused, able to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
