Short Summary:
The Senior Project Manager leads teams to deliver projects that span across one or more business units, contributing to process improvement initiatives and maintaining a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage programs and products within the company portfolio that range from medium to large in scope.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
- Monitor team performance against key internal indicators to enhance efficiency.
- Provide oversight for performance, scope, schedule, and quality, reporting to technical and business leadership.
- Conduct issue and risk management activities to ensure projects are completed on time and to high-quality standards.
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels.
- Mentor and provide subject matter expertise to junior team members.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Execute a wide range of process activities from requirements definition to final delivery.
Requirement:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 4-6 years of strong project management experience in a software development setting.
- Experience with driving complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall, and Hybrid environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred but not required.
