Short Summary:
Acquia is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Pre-sales team, acting as a technical advisor and evangelist to develop strong technical solutions for prospective customers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep knowledge of Acquia’s products, solutions, and value propositions.
- Gather customer business needs to tailor the right solution with Acquia products.
- Create solution proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
- Research, scope, and estimate Drupal solutions for enterprise-grade applications.
- Combat competitive threats and educate potential customers on Acquia’s key values.
- Facilitate a smooth transition from sales to delivery by orienting teams to the solution design.
- Lead or participate in customer-facing meetings and maintain relationships with partners and prospects.
- Engage with the product team to drive customer requests and influence the product roadmap.

Requirement:
- B.S. or similar technical degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT, or Information Services.
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role; previous experience in sales or pre-sales is preferred.
- Experience at a SaaS company, or familiarity with Drupal and cloud architectures.
- Passion for the web and open-source development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as a team player.
