🦄 Description
11 bit studios is looking for a Lead Game Designer to help define the gameplay vision of an unannounced project. You will collaborate with Directors and other domain Leads, guide a team of designers, shape foundational systems, and provide feedback across gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Directors to define gameplay pillars
• Translate the game vision into clear design goals
• Work with other domain Leads to solve development challenges
• Lead and mentor a team of designers
• Provide regular feedback and support to the design team
• Collaborate with other departments on foundational gameplay systems
• Review gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design
• Maintain consistency across the overall player experience
• Define actionable solutions within production constraints
📚 Required Skills
• Experience as a Lead Designer or Design Director
• At least eight years of experience in gameplay or systems design
• Experience with combat design
• Strong design team management skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Warsaw
• Experience working on indie or AA games
• Understanding of indie and AA production constraints and advantages
• Polish and English at B2 level or higher
• Ability to create clear project documentation
• Ability to define technical requirements
• Ability to work within project and time constraints
• Strong communication skills
• Strong knowledge of current games and industry trends

• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Experience defining gameplay pillars for new intellectual properties
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary Leads
• Experience developing foundational gameplay systems
